Before Prisync
As many ecommerce stores that don’t use automation for their pricing strategies have experienced, Booghe Toys also had issues with its conversion rates. By the time they were adjusting their prices manually, they were already losing potential sales and ad budget. That is because customers are price sensitive and won’t hesitate to choose a cheaper alternative. As Tam stated:
“From Google’s point of view, it’s mainly price-driven. We had instances where we got high clicks on products, but no conversions. People are going to our page and website and clicking on the product. They’re having a look, but they’re not taking the next step. What is stopping them from taking the next step? And then after doing some research, we found out that somebody else is selling it for much cheaper.”
Tam – Marketing Team
Booghe Toys had used Prisync before. When they realized they needed to stay competitive on price, they chose to reinstall the app.
After Using Prisync
As a Shopify merchant, Booghe Toys turned to Prisync to automate its pricing with the Dynamic Pricing Engine. After they started using Prisync, they were able to compete on price without manually checking competitors one by one. Booghe Toys used dynamic pricing rules to adjust prices based on competitors’ pricing, so they could lower prices on some products to remain competitive. This way, they can protect their profit margins and avoid selling below cost.
Why Prisync?
Booghe Toys chose to implement Prisync because it provided a much-needed solution to a critical problem: low conversion rates. Before Prisync, Tam and his team had to manually check competitors’ prices, a time-consuming and inefficient process. Tam emphasizes that they are happy with the software overall, and the price rules are quite easy to work with and pretty straightforward, which allows them to utilize Prisyn’s automation capabilities. So much so that Booghe Toys even implemented Prisync in its other store, Game Guru, to get more benefits from the software.
“The app is definitely recommended. It works very well for us, hence we implemented it on our other website, Game Guru, as well. It’s just doing its job in the background… Prisync definitely played a role in our growth.”
Tam – Marketing Team
Booghe Toys also considers Prisync a contributing factor to its business growth, as evidenced by its year-over-year performance. Tam stated, “It has pushed a lot of products out there and given us a good result. We can see in the overall market this past year… we’ve had a much better year. Hopefully, we continue the growth in the future.”
